We get a lot of the same questions—so we figured we’d save you the scroll (and ourselves the breath) with a handy cheat sheet. No power-up needed.

If your question isn’t listed here or you just want to double-check something, reach out anytime. We’re real humans (and real gamers), and we’re always happy to help get your console—and your sanity—back on track.
How much does a typical console repair cost?
Most standard repairs—like HDMI port replacements or motherboard fixes—are a flat $199, all-in. I like to keep pricing as standardized as possible so you know what to expect. If a part is rare or unusually expensive, I’ll always let you know before starting.
How long does a repair usually take?
Standard repairs like HDMI ports or power issues usually take 1–3 days. Trickier repairs or rare part sourcing may take longer, but I’ll always keep you in the loop.
Do you fix all consoles?
I repair all major gaming systems—PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch, and Switch Lite. Have an older or obscure console? Reach out—I might still be able to help.
Do you offer any kind of warranty?
Yep. Every repair comes with a 120-day repair assurance. If the original issue comes back, I’ll fix it again—no charge. Just be kind: drops, spills, and pet accidents aren’t covered.
Can I just drop off my console?
Yes! You can drop it off in Barrie, or I can coordinate with you if you're coming from further out like Innisfil, Orillia, or Muskoka. I’ll let you know once it’s ready for pickup.
What kinds of problems do you fix?
Everything from power issues, HDMI ports, overheating, no video, and USB problems to weird error codes and even Joy-Con drift. If your console is acting up—I’ve probably fixed it before.
Can you fix liquid-damaged consoles?
Unfortunately, I don’t work on liquid-damaged systems. They’re unpredictable and often unrepairable, and I don’t want to waste your time or money chasing a fix that won’t stick.
Can I pay later?
Nope, sorry—we don’t accept IOUs, that weird glass figurine you won at the fair, or promises of future riches. I’m not a pawn shop or a bank, so please don’t turn me into one. Payment is due at pickup. (Though if you’re feeling especially generous, you can pay at drop-off too. I won’t say no.)

Ready To Fix It Up?

Don’t wait—your next game night is counting on it.
